Two Custom Solutions Help Enhance Security and Ergonomics
Custom high strength tamper resistant Pick-Up PIN pad stand
We worked closely with LCBO to retrofit a new Paymate stand to their existing framework when they were updating their devices to the new Ingenico iPP300 series. LCBO, being at the forefront of understanding the relationship between customer experience and fraud, also requested a higher strength version of our iPP300 security clip. We designed a solution that met their criteria; a security clip offering higher strength and improved tamper resistance.
Custom ergonomic checkout solution for new cash lane
We worked directly with LCBO Health and Safety Divisions to custom design a monitor/keyboard solution to accompany their new cashier desk checkout station.
The goal was to better meet the ergonomic needs of their employees for both standing and seated positions. They required a fully articulating keyboard arm, sliding and rotating printer trays and a rotating/tilting monitor stand, all while maintaining stability. We combined breakthrough new design strategies, an amalgamation of different manufacturing methods and a variety of high strength materials to fulfill their needs. Employee feedback has been incredibly positive.
